Refund policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from CycleBot. If for any reason you are not happy, we have made our returns process as straightforward as possible.


1. Your Right to Cancel (EU Statutory Right)

As a consumer purchasing from CycleBot, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item, without giving any reason. This is your statutory right under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and German BGB §355 (Widerrufsrecht).

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must notify us within 14 calendar days of the date you received your order.

2. Extended Returns Window

In addition to your statutory rights, CycleBot offers an extended 30-day returns window from the date of delivery for a full refund, provided the item meets our return conditions below.


3. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return and full refund, items must be:

  • Returned within 30 days of the delivery date
  • In their original, unused condition
  • In original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and components included
  • Free from damage caused by misuse, modification, or improper cleaning

Please note: Items that show signs of use beyond reasonable inspection may be subject to a partial refund to account for any reduction in value, in accordance with EU consumer rights law.


4. Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

  • Items returned after 30 days
  • Items damaged due to misuse or neglect
  • Consumable accessories that have been opened and used (e.g. replacement filters, bags)
  • Items with missing parts or packaging that cannot be resold

5. How to Return Your Item

  1. Email support@cyclebot.com with your order number and reason for return
  2. We will respond within 2 business days with your return authorisation and return address
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging
  4. Ship the item to our returns address using a tracked delivery service
  5. Keep your proof of postage until your refund has been processed

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly sent.


6. Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email. If your return is approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receiving the returned item
  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method
  • Bank processing times may add an additional 3–5 business days depending on your bank or card provider
  • Original shipping costs are refunded only if the item was faulty, damaged, or incorrectly sent

7. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is:

  • Defective or faulty on arrival
  • Damaged during transit
  • Incorrect (wrong item sent)

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@cyclebot.com with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the item and packaging

We will arrange either a replacement, repair, or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.


8. Statutory Warranty (Gewährleistung)

Under German and EU law, all products sold by CycleBot carry a 2-year statutory warranty (Gewährleistungsrecht) from the date of purchase. This covers manufacturing defects and faults that existed at the time of sale. This is in addition to any manufacturer warranty provided with the product.
